This role will lead the drive for and closing of new business leads, represent SilverDoor to new and potential clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts for the young and quickly growing North America market for SilverDoor. The role holder will need to balance strategy with execution, think big yet immerse themselves in enough data and insight to drive profitable, new business revenue growth, performance, and standards across the region. Focused on direct client contracts.

The Role.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Constantly research, seek out and follow up on new business leads
  • Ownership for the implementation and measurement of the plans relating to client acquisition
  • Responsible for the delivery of revenue targets set by client, location, channel, and individual level
  • Provide accurate reporting on all key metrics
  • Build a strong, professional reputation across all relevant industries/forums
  • Use salesforce as the chosen CRM tool
  • Responsible for keeping an up-to-date new client profile for each potential account
  • Regularly reviewing performance with the VP of Business Development
  • Regularly pursuing new unassigned direct client accounts and reviewing new business opportunities
  • Regular communication with the North America Accounts Management team to develop hot leads into direct clients
  • Attending and representing the company at all relevant client & property networking opportunities
  • Presenting to potential new clients
  • Compiling formal and informal RFPs
  • Responsible for ensuring efficient use of time within Business Development team
  • Responsible for maintaining Business Development materials and trackers 

 

 

Required Experience & Skills:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a demonstrated history of accomplishments in new business development wins/expansion
  • B2B/B2C serviced apartment or hotel background experience is essential
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the serviced apartment industry
  • Effective communication skills
  • Confident meeting clients face-to-face
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Role model the SilverDoor core values and leadership behaviour

  • Strong networking capabilities
