As a Senior Software Developer, you will be expected to have knowledge of the full stack of applications. You will be tasked with developing new solutions based on specifications from the Lead Developer or of your own. You will also be spending part of your time fixing bugs, writing unit tests and documentation as well as:

Implement new features of medium-high complexity
Write unit tests for the produced code to validate the functionality
Troubleshoot existing code for issues and come up with a solution to fix it
Write documentation for new and existing code
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Write clean and secure code and adhere to security and information standards of the company and best practises of the technologies used

The Role.

Your role

You will work in our technology team – our hardworking and close-knit team here at SilverDoor Apartments – made up of software developers, infrastructure engineers, product/project managers, and testers who collaborate as a single application team to lead the company’s technology strategy.

The team solely deal with custom in-house development of websites, apps, service applications, third-party integrations; cloud platform, systems delivery and maintenance as well as new technology innovations and internal network support.

The team ensure constant delivery of a resilient, secure and performant technology service for all our clients, suppliers and internal users.

The ideal attributes

Very good PHP 7 knowledge
Very good MVC framework knowledge such as Laminas (Zend Framework), Symfony or Laravel
Very good knowledge Vue.js, CSS, HTML
Very good Git knowledge
Between 5 years of commercial experience
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written English
Well organised and able to report on progress concisely
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
