For time-strapped business travellers, sightseeing can often seem like a luxury. So we’ve compiled a guide to help you squeeze in some must-see sights when business takes you to cities as exciting as Mumbai, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.

Mumbai: Business travellers craving culture can be driven around the city on one of Mumbai’s famous rickshaws. Many drivers will be happy to take you on a tailor-made tour of the city, waiting for you while you visit attractions – just make sure you agree on a price before you set off. If you’re staying at Mews Apartments you could be at the spectacular Gateway of India in a matter of minutes. After that, why not head to nearby Crawford Market? Full of stalls selling spices and handmade produce, it’s bustling and lively, and the perfect place to absorb quintessentially Indian sights and smells if you’re in the city for just a short time. Just a five minute drive away you will find Marine Drive, a boulevard otherwise known as 'the Queen's necklace' because of its C shape. Locals sit on the edge of the road in the evenings, overlooking the coast and surveying the bright lights of Mumbai.

Abu Dhabi: If you’re working amongst Abu Dhabi’s towering modern buildings it can be easy to forget you’re in the Middle East. To get a little Arab flavour, visit Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates, which is constructed out of breathtaking cream marble and gold. The Etihad Tower Residences are perfectly situated in the centre of Abu Dhabi, less than a ten-minute drive from the Corniche - a manmade boulevard which provides some stunning views. Even this seaside area can be humid in the daytime, so it’s best to visit in the early evening. The Corniche is also host to shops and restaurants serving traditional food, and a bicycle rental service.

Singapore: What better way to see the city of Singapore than from above? You can catch a cable car which leads up to Mount Faber, which provides some incredible 360-degree views. Alternatively, Beach Road Apartments are only a fifteen-minute drive away and offer views across the city. Only a six-minute drive from the apartments you will find Orchard Road, the city’s entertainment hub. Lined with restaurants and bars, the 2.2 kilometre road showcases Singapore’s lively, modern atmosphere.
