Flying Butler is a property provider that we’ve been working with for years now, and we’re very proud of the relationship that’s blossomed.
In that time, we’ve seen the company expand, evolve its offering, and take on various new members of staff, including Reservations and Account Executive, Kiki Chatzigiannaki.
Since joining Flying Butler in May this year, Kiki has hit the ground running. Putting her knowledge to the test, we asked her several questions about the company, including what their growth plans are. Kiki – over to you.
You’re now three months into your role. How’s it going?
The time’s gone really fast! I more or less jumped straight into the role and haven’t really had a moment to think. It’s been a wonderful challenge learning all the ins and outs of the apartments we provide (as we have a big portfolio), but I’ve loved every minute of it.
What does your role involve?
I act as a key point of contact for all of our dedicated accounts. I closely support our reservation teams, and am based in our office in West Kensington.
What did you do previously?
I previously worked as a Reservations and Sales Agent for Frasers. Unlike my current role, this position was more reservation-focused, but still taught me a lot about the serviced apartment industry.
What does Flying Butler do differently from other providers?
We’re incredibly customer-focused and pride ourselves on our fast responsiveness. We care about our corporate guests and agents and offer a diverse portfolio of apartments at different rates. We offer solutions for everyone and are particularly good at accommodating groups.
Which are your most in-demand apartments right now?
Our Marylebone properties, which are typically townhouses, have a homely feel, and offer one, two, three and four bedroom apartments. This makes them popular with families.
Meanwhile, our Richmond apartments benefit from on-site parking and have been finished to a very high standard.
Our Camden property is also popular – because where else would you want to be in North London?
Tell us about the new properties you‘ve recently opened?
Our Farnborough property is a conversion of an old hotel. It is eco-friendly and has been done to a really high standard. It offers one and two bedroom apartments and, since launching in June, has gone down really well with our guests.
Croydon, as you may be aware, is an area with lots of new developments underway, and we’ve capitalised on this by delivering a new 11 unit serviced apartment building, right next to East Croydon station, with an on-site concierge service and car parking.
Where else is Flying Butler hoping to expand to?
We’re looking at lots of locations across London. However, the biggest focus of the company continues to be enhancing and refining the experience we’re offering to our guests. Watch this space!
