Inside Scoop: Oakwood reveal all

This week, Krystal Taylor from Oakwood came to our offices. We talked about how long they’ve been in the industry and about their new apartments between Edgware Road and Marble Arch.

Can you tell us about any new projects, properties or promotions you have coming up?

We’ve got a new property opening between Edgware Road and Marble Arch called Forset Court; we have 15 apartments there, a mixture of one and two beds. It’s an older building but it’s all been ripped out and refurbished from scratch and the apartments are really beautiful.

We don’t have any upcoming promotions at the moment, but watch out for quarter four because I’m sure there will be some exciting offers coming your way!

What makes Oakwood different?

We’ve been in the industry for over 50 years and we pioneered the serviced apartment concept. Having that behind us has given us a great brand and made us recognisable throughout the world, which has enabled us to grow in both this region and the Asia Pacific region.

What’s your corporate/leisure divide?

We don’t really do any leisure; we solely target the corporate and relocation markets.

What does SilverDoor do for your business?

We really enjoy working with SilverDoor. It’s been a long relationship now and we feel it’s very much a partnership rather than a client/provider service. You’re a great client of ours and you fall in to our top 10 year in and year out which is brilliant.

Now for the quick fire round…
