Oxford Street Area Guide

Located in the West End of London, Oxford Street is not only the longest shopping street in the city, but it’s also Europe’s busiest. The street is one and a half miles long and is lined with restaurants, high-street favourites, designer brands and famous department stores.  Oxford Street is right at the heart of the city and can be reached quickly and easily from London’s biggest business districts.

Oxford Street is home to many flagship stores including the UK’s leading John Lewis store, an enormous Debenhams and one of the main attractions, Topshop.

The head offices of many of the retail giants can also be found in the area including the Arcadia Group and Selfridges & Co. Along with their flagship store, the Selfridges & Co headquarters are housed in a grade II listed building, dominating a large section of the street.
