In September 2021, Habicus Group acquired The Apartment Service (TAS) in a major deal for the global serviced accommodation sector. With the acquisition, TAS was brought into the same group as the world’s largest corporate accommodation agent, SilverDoor Apartments.

By bringing together two of the world’s largest serviced apartment agents under one Group, clients from both firms have benefitted from an unrivalled booking experience, drawing on the very best technology, market experience, and account management in the sector. Since the acquisition, both The Apartment Service and SilverDoor have carefully worked to ensure a continuity of service to clients. Alongside that, time has been spent understanding the views of customers, employees and suppliers and careful considerations have been made on how to move forward and the best way to serve clients into the future.

The Apartment Service was established in 1981 as the pioneer within the sector and brought with it decades of experience. SilverDoor is widely recognised as the sector leader in service and technology. As of the 1st of April 2022, the two brands are uniting to make a combined team under one market-leading, multi-award-winning brand – SilverDoor Apartments.
