People the world over love a good cup of coffee, and our coffee shop culture grows every year, with chains and independent outlets springing up on every corner. Coffee giant Starbucks has stores in over 70 countries, and more than 25,000 stores worldwide, so it’d be easy to assume that you’re never too far from your next latte.

But which country in the world has the most Starbucks outlets per million inhabitants? You would definitely expect the answer to be the United States, but when we compared the number of stores relative to the population, we discovered that in fact Monaco wins the title for most stores per person, although the US does come in at second place!
