All you need to know about Russell Square, London

Russell Square is London's second-largest garden square. The Russell family, who took control of Bloomsbury in 1669, inspired the name of this neighbourhood. Currently, Camden Council looks after the upkeep of the square, which is owned by the Bedford Estates. Given the short commute time, Russell Square serviced apartments are ideal for business travellers who work in Central London.

With so many supermarkets around, you won't be short on options for dinner to make use of the fully equipped kitchen in your serviced apartment in Russell Square. This area is known for its parks and high end eateries, and it also houses the British Museum and the Brunswick Shopping Centre. Since many Russell Square apartments are close to the Russell Square tube station, getting in and around the district is simple.

The Russell Square Gardens were rebuilt in 2002, despite having been originally constructed in the early 19th century. By recreating the ancient winding walkways and adding new lime trees, they were brought back to a state resembling that of the early 1800s. Older trees that had low branches were cut down, and the park regained its light.
