In the shadow of the Shard and just next to London Bridge is one of London’s best food markets - Borough Market. The market sells fresh food and produce from all over the world and is a popular place to go with many top London chefs. The market operates as a wholesale market all weekday mornings and it is open to the public as a retail market from Thursday to Saturday.

The market has been going for hundreds of years and has even been recorded in several TV shows and films including Bridget Jones Diary and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It is a great place to go to stock up on fresh food but it also has a great buzzing atmosphere. At the weekend you will find a great range of stalls offering snacks and treats making it the perfect place to grab a tasty lunch.
