What is a serviced apartment?

Serviced accommodation filled the space in the market for suitable temporary residences for business travellers that offer the flexibility and on-site amenities or services of hotel stays, combined with the privacy and space of a private rental. Chose serviced accommodation for your next business trip and enjoy a whole host of benefits including:

Space. A hotel room may be perfectly comfortable for a week long holiday, but for a business traveller relocating for months at a time, a hotel room simply doesn’t suffice. In a serviced apartment, you can enjoy separate kitchen, living, dining and sleeping spaces as well as the added luxury of on-site amenities such as a gym, swimming pool or spa.
Flexibility. With the choice of studio to upwards of five bedroom apartments, there is always the option of a spare room or space to invite guests to stay. Whether your family want to come and visit you at weekends, or you want to take a week off to show your friends round your new city, serviced accommodation can easily accommodate additional occupancy.
Value. Like for like, serviced accommodation is more affordable than a hotel room, even with all the extras afforded to serviced accommodation guests. Longer stays also benefit from a tax discount meaning for extended trips and relocation, serviced accommodation always comes out on top.

What do I need to know about staying in Brussels?

Transport

Brussels features an advanced transport infrastructure comprising trains, metro, trams and buses. Tickets for each can be purchased on the vehicle but are more expensive this way, so you may also purchase tickets at ticket ‘bootiks’, in supermarkets or online with a Brussels Card which also provides discounts on museums, bars and restaurants. Ticket prices range from $2.10 for a single ride, to $7.50 for a 24 hour pass. Brussels is well connected to mainland Europe. You can be in Paris by train in under two hours, and German cities Cologne and Dusseldoft in just over two hours.

Beer

Brussels is renowned as a beer lover’s paradise, with the city boasting a lively drinking culture and a number of bars offering hundreds of types of beer. Delirium for example is a brewery situated off Brussels Grand-Place and offers more than 2000 types of beer. An underground cavern with thousands of beer mats lining the walls and trays lining the ceiling, Delirium is the ideal spot to let your hair down with colleagues.

Culture

With many gems dotted around the city, Brussels is a treasure cove of culture. Manneken Pis is a 61cm tall stature depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain below. Said to present the personality of the city, Manneken Pis embodies the humour and independence of Brussels.

Architecture

Known for its eclectic range of buildings, Brussels is a treat for the eyes. The Town Hall that towers over Brussels central Grand-Place is an impressive asymmetric Gothic structure complete with tall tower and hundreds of statues. Opposite stands Brussels City Museum an equally magnificent building with a decorated façade of windows and arches.
