All you need to know about Cognac

Cognac is a historic medieval town located in the Soutwest of France. The town is situated on the banks of the picturesque river Charente, nestled between the towns of Angoulême and Saintes. Cognac shares its name with one of the most well-known types of brandy; Cognac, which is produced in the surrounding wine growing region. It is said Cognac has been produced in the town since the 16th Century, with many manufacturing houses still producing the popular tipple today. There are some great Cognac distillery tours and tasting events to try whilst visiting the town.
