Kolkata is India's second biggest city and is home to impressive buildings, museums, and a range of iconic structures and landmarks. Formerly Calcutta, this city has redeveloped into a vibrant location, with cultural festivals and colonial architecture. 

Kalkata's port is India's oldest operating port and provides mass trade to the city from abroad and internally. the city is primarily focused around commercial and finance and has become the hub of the East and North-East of India. Industry also plays a key role, with much of the workforce employed by sectors such as steel, mining and pharmaceuticals.

In 2011 the population of the city boasted 3.5 million and the suburbs held 14.1 million residents. Making businesses and corporate offices constantly in demand with an ever-growing population.
