New Delhi is the second-largest city and the capital of India. The city has a population of almost 17 million, making it one of the most populated cities in the world. New Delhi is a cosmopolitan city and embraces many different religions, as well as being a hive for international business.

The largest train station is the New Delhi rail station which connects Delhi to the rest of the country, as well as Pakistan. Other public transport options include rickshaws, the metro rail system and buses, which are the most widely used modes of transport. The primary airport in Delhi is the Indira Gandhi International Airport which is located in New Delhi and is the busiest airport in the country. The airport provides a link to locations all over the world including London Heathrow, Paris and Singapore.
