All you need to know about Turin

Turin is a city in northern Italy. A business and cultural centre rich in history, known for its restaurants, palaces, churches, opera houses, piazzas, gardens, theatres, museums and galleries.

After Rome and Milan, Turin is considered one of Italy’s strongest cities, economically, and is a hotbed for trade, commerce and industry. It’s home to some of Italy’s top academic intuitions like the University Turin, which make it an excellent place to relocate to as a family.

Its buildings and monuments are mix of Baroque, Neo-Classical, Art Nouveau, Rococo and Renaissance architecture, and span multiple centuries. Famous attractions include Palazzo Madama and Piazza San Carlo.

The city’s transportation system consists of buses, trams, and trains, all of which are run by the Gruppo Torinese Trasporti. Turin’s main airport is situated in the commune Caselle Torinese.
