The capital of Nigeria and inhabited by 776,300 people, it is one of the most populous cities in Nigeria, and is the nerve and centre of trade and commerce in this country. It is the fastest growing city in Africa and is fast developing with constant annual growth.
Many tourist destinations lie surounding the city and within Abuja. From Zuma Rock to the incredible buildings of the Nigerian National Mosque and the Maitama District. In recent years the skyline has begun to change. With more and more people calling Abuja home. Plans to build skyscrapers and regenerate the city are in progress and urban development plans are being achieved within the city.
The Central Business District in Abuja is located between the Garki and Asokoro districts and the Maitama and Wuse districts. Many multinational and international companies have offices here as well as the Nigerian government and political houses.
