Ludford Bridge

Ludford Bridge is a 3-arch grade I listed masonry bridge crossing the Teme River to the north. The bridge was originally built in the 15th century, and was restored in 1886. The bridge gives its name to the 1459 Battle of Ludford Bridge, which took place to its south in Ludford in the early years of the Wars of the Roses. It took place on 12 October 1459, and resulted in a setback for the Yorkists.
