All you need to know about Royal Leamington Spa

Leamington Spa is a resort town in Warwickshire, celebrated for its Regency architecture and wonderful green spaces. Like many resort towns, it’s based on a mineral spring with healing properties, and came into existence at the start of the 19th century, drawing people from all over with its enchanting spa waters.

Nowadays known as Royal Leamington Spa, it’s divided by the River Leam, and home to historic churches and parks. The town is brimming with shops, and offers many cultural attractions like the Queen Victoria Statue and Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum. Other local sites worth visiting include the Royal Pump Rooms and Warwick Castle.

Leamington Spa’s economy centres mainly on tourism, but the town also has its very own Silicon Valley called Silicon Spa, recognised as a major hub for the video game industry. Companies based here include Ubisoft Leamington, and Supersonic Software.

Its town centre is three miles from the M40 motorway, which links London to Birmingham. The town is also served by the A46, which runs from Coventry to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Leamington Spa railway station is one of main commuting points and provides a regular service to and from the town.

We offer a number of serviced apartments in Leamington Spa in and around the town centre, with a variety of features and luxuries.
