All you need to know about Sutton Coldfield

Located within Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield is approximately a 20 minute drive northwards from the city centre. Birmingham is the second most populated city in England after London and is a notable city in terms of business, transport and retail and even holds the most universities in the UK, making it a centre for higher education.

Having the second largest economy in the UK, Birmingham provides a large number of business headquarters, facilities and the busiest shopping centre in the UK, the Bullring can also be found here. Sutton Coldfield also features its own shopping centre called The Mall. The area is predominantly a middle class residential town, which provides easy access to Birmingham’s centre of business and finance.

Sutton Coldfield train station operates the London Midland Cross-City line which is predominantly used as a commuter service for people getting into Birmingham. Cross country trains from Birmingham city centre can be caught from Birmingham New Street. The station runs lines all the way from Edinburgh to Bournemouth and many other destinations in between. Birmingham Airport is a 20 minute drive from Sutton Coldfield and operates flights to North America and the Middle East.
