Naperville is located in Chicago, within the state of Illinois. The city is known for its outstanding natural beauty, as well as having the best library in the whole of the US and its own Historic District, comprising of the integral historic sites. One of the most visited areas in the city is the Naperville Riverwalk, recognised as one of the most attractive sites in the Midwest. The Riverwalk is located minutes from downtown Naperville, where the majority of restaurants and shops can be found.
The majority of inhabitants travel by car when getting around the city, parking in the city centre is reasonably easy as there are a number of high rise car parks available for free. Travel to and from nearby Chicago is made easy by the METRA rail service which operates regular services from Naperville Station. The nearest airport is Chicago O’Hare International Airport, a thirty minute drive north east of Naperville. The airport was once one of the busiest in the world and operates services to Europe and the US.
