With up to 9 million citizens, Ho Chi Minh is the largest city in Vietnam. The city’s nearest airport is Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, which sees around 20 million passengers annually and serves destinations including Hong-Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Accessing the city is also easy as many of the country’s train routes pass through and it’s port sees both commercial and passenger boats. The main form of transportation throughout Ho Chi Minh includes buses, taxis, motorbikes and bicycles.
The city is home to many business parks including Quang Trung Software Park, which houses a software training school as well as many software enterprises and companies. There is a range of larger shopping malls, supermarkets and fashion centres that have opened throughout the city. Ho Chi Minh also has many, must-see, cultural destinations including the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum.
