. The city itself is served by the Marseille Metro train system and an extensive bus network. There is also a TGV line, which takes just under 3 hours to get to the capital of the country, Paris
With an extensive sea port, Marseille is an important centre in France for trading and also has a growing service sector. Popular sites within the city include Vieux-Port, which provides locals and visitors with an array of cafés along the main harbour, the Marseille History Museum, which is a museum devoted to the city’s history and Notre Dame de la Garde, which is an extensive church overlooking the city.
