A town approximately an hour drive from London; Redhill is 21 miles south of the city centre. Redhill is predominantly a residential area, which is part of the London commuter belt, meaning a large number of residents commute into the city. Although a reasonably rural area, there is a busy pedestrianized High Street which is linked to the Belfry Shopping Centre, which offers an array of shops. Also located within the centre is Warwick Quadrant, which features a theatre and cinema. A large number of residents work in central London.
London Gatwick International Airport is just a 15-minute drive away, making Redhill very easy to access; a train from Redhill also takes just 10 minutes. Redhill train station is a large interchange along with the Brighton Main Line offering services to popular destinations including Reading, Portsmouth and Croydon.
