San Antonio is a city in Bexar County, Texas, located roughly 75 miles southwest of the state’s capital, Austin. It’s the seventh most populous city in the United States and the second most populated city in Texas. The population of San Antonio is 1.5 million and has been rising every year since 1990. San Antonio has good transport links. It’s linked by many roads which run to neighbouring cities, including Route 10 – which connects San Antonio and Houston. Route 35, meanwhile, links San Antonio to Austin.
